RE: [HOE] Unity Spoilers in Lost Colony

>SPOILER SPACE(LIKE HAVING UNITY IN THE FREAKIN' TITLE ISN'T CLUE ENOUGH)

I must restate that some email programs preview messages; that is why
spoiler space is considered polite despite the subject line.

Well, I have to say that I don't think of disagreeing with me as
"Clint-bashing" as long as you aren't personally derogatory in your
comments. And in your game, the Unity can have all the armor you want to
give it. I'm just trying to present a logical reason for the values given
in the book.

It's mentioned in the Unity, but if you haven't read the short story on
Hellstrome's first trip to Hell, the issue of Faustian Devices and their
weight limit is dealt with there. And of course, the lighter he could make
the ship; the more troops he could carry into battle.

Plus remember that Hellstrome's plan is to go to the Hell of suicides
specifically, and he's been there a few times already. Whatever killed the
crew of the Unity is most likely from a more dangerous section of Hell.

Hmm, perhaps part of the confusion with my assertions is that Hellstrome
does not have to travel *through* Hell. If the calculations and weights are
correct, the Unity will appear in Hell exactly where he wants it to. All he
has to face is the opposition in the Hell of suicides.

Oh, and a demon with Str + 2d6 claws could not hurt something with AV3. All
strength damage is negated once the add-on damage is reduced below 1d4.

"You smell that? Do you smell that? ...Ghost Rock, son. Nothing else in the
world smells like that. I love the smell of ghost rock in the morning. You
know, one time we had a hill bombed, for twelve hours. When it was all over
I walked up. We didn't find one of 'em, not one stinkin' Yank body. The
smell, you know that sulphurous smell, the whole hill. Smelled like...
victory. Someday this war's gonna end..."
