The error came in that the number of yards next to a vehicle's mph is how
far it moves per PHASE, not per round.  A vehicle moving at 5 mph will
move half an inch (1 inch=5 yards) five times during a round, and can
accellerate on each of those phases
A running hero can get a headstart on a car, but won't hold that lead for
much more than a couple rounds.  Really, this has more to do with the
silliness of a character beinhg able to bolt his whole running pace on a
single action.  This is pretty far out there, but the movement rules in
this game have been messed up from the beginning

Assuming a hero has a Pace of 8, drew 5 cards (we'll make them A, Q, 9,
5, and 2 for easy reference to the movement phases) and has enough Wind
to Pick Up the Pace on each card, and is racing from a dead stop against
a sedan with a top speed of 90 and accelleration of 10 mph.

Ace:	Hero moves his whole running pace, moves 16 yards, and picks it up,
gaining 3 more.	Score: 19 yards
	Car goes 10 mph, moves 5 yards.							Score: 5

Queen:	Hero picks it up again, gaining 2 yards.						Score: 21
	Car bumps up to 20 mph, moving 10 yards.						Score: 15

9:	Hero picks it up, gains 3 yards.							Score: 24
	Car moves at 30 mph, gains 15 yards						Score: 30

5:	Hero desperately tries to beat the car, picks up 4 yards				Score: 28
	Car moves 40 mph, gains 20 yards						Score: 50

2:	Hero keeps trying, but has a bit of a cramp; gains 1 yard.				Score:
29
	Car moes up to 60 mph, gains 30 yards.						Score: 80

By the end of the round, the car is well past the hero.  Keep in mind
also that the hero isn't guaranteed to get an ace, while the car will
always move on Ace, Queen, 9, 5 and 2.  If the hero's top card is lower
than a Queen, he's got no hope of ever catching up to the car, since by
the time he can move, the car's gone 21 yards.
