Gotta agree.  As it stands originally, it was WAY overboard.  I would never
allow Blessed or Shaman to be in the mix at all.  Neither of these is in
your blood.  Even though the character "pays" for the AB, that's just for
game balance.  In actuality they have been chosen (whether by the Spirits or
the Almighty) as a personal representative.  Plus the entire paradigm for
these two AB's is mutually exclusive.  While theoretically someone could
believe in both God and Nature Spirit; his faith is only supported by one.
If for no other reason than nature spirits are jealous.

I like Allan's alternative, but stick to huckster, harrowed, and martial
artist (Although I personally wouldn't allow this either.  Different
paradigm again.)  I might allow Mad Scientist abilites, in that he could use
an alchemical concoction and delay its effect until he needed it, but
couldn't use another power until he did.
