Re: [DL] Raven and Dove
You could always go with the (possibly made up by White Wolf) version
of the story: The raven was once a snow white bird until one day when
Sun would not rise. Raven went to see what was wrong and found Sun
sulking in his home saying that he did not want to come out anymore.
Raven thought for a moment then, being the clever bird he is, flew off
with a plan. When he returned he placed a great mirror outside Sun's
door and began laughing and singing loudly. When Sun asked why Raven
was so happy, Raven replied that since Sun was never coming out again,
that he had been replaced with a bigger, stronger, better Sun. Sun
heard this and opened his door, when he saw his reflection, he became
angry and broke the mirror, then chased Raven all the way back to
earth. He came close to catching him a couple times and singed his
feathers black.
There's another story which is similar and found in the Sandman series
of comics.
