| There are two solutions I've come up with.

Solution #3:
the walkie-talkie/cell phone works, but has a lot of static
in the background. Of course someone who listens carefully
will realize that that's not static, it's the sound of
thousands of Manitous whispering in your ear... every time
you use the device there's a chance that one of the Manitous
gets your attention (consciously or sub-consciously) and
tells you something you really weren't meant to know. Apply
appropriate dementia.
