[BNW] Some weird setting questions

Ok, some things that I hadn't quite considered, and aren't really that
important to the game, but I'm playing with a short story idea...

There've been quite a few fairly controversial and strong court cases/laws
over the past 40 years or so.  How might some of these been changed?  Was
there even a real civil rights movement?  Roe vs Wade?  Etc.?  


Thoughts?
