 Yeah, like maybe a link between massacres and delta occurances:

A) WW1, millions of deaths on both sides, first occurence of Delta's

B) WW2, even more death and destruction, not only of reg/delta soldiers, but
also the attempted genocide of the jewish people. First Alpha occurance
 moments after the deaths of many more delta's in a failed jailbreak)

C) The '89 incident. four major cities wiped of the face of the earth, along
with their populations. Emergence of new delta type - Vampires
