I didn't think the Defiance really had much "meat" to it. Whole sections
seemed virtually useless unless you were playing very specific campaigns.
Isla Delta, other than seeing the occasional propoganda poster, who
cares? Pax Delta, it's nice to know about the pacifist branch of the
defiance, but I can't really see running a campaign using it as more than
a side story. Organizing sit-ins and handing out informative pamphlets
isn't exactly the heroic stuff of legends.
I'm over-simplifying, but hopefully you get the idea. Again, your results
may vary, as your campaign may vary. But I think in general Delta Prime
had more useful info (I final rough estimate of the number of deltas in
the US is worth at least $10!) in it. But I think Defiants wins out in
Power Packages.
I think in the end he (whoever started this thread) should just go to a
hobby store and sit down and skim through the two and see which one better
aplies to his campaign. Most decent shops won't care as long as you buy
one of them.
