I have found a Haltie or a Gentle Leader to be more effective. If a pyr
wants to pull on a choke chain you could end up really hurting the dog
because they are so strong. And so stubborn that often if they want to get
at something a choke chain isn't going to help! Control the head and you
control the dog!
