Yeah! But will
Paris,London and Rome send you a greeting card made by tiny fingers and for no
reason other than that you are loved? In your old age, will London drive
miles just to make sure you are okay and comfortable? Will Rome present
you with a carbon copy of yourself? Will Paris hold your hand and hug you,
when your time comes to depart this life?
My late wife and I
wanted only a daughter, no more kids. God, in his wisdom, gave us two fine
boys before he gave us the daughter. He knew what He was doing. They
are fine people! How much I would have lost by not knowing
them!
If we opt only for things
that are pleasant and easy for us, we don't reach our own full
growth.
