Re: [pyrnet] Electric Fences??

Our pyrs are confined by a 4 ft fence that we put in ourselves for a total
cost well below your lowest $ figure. Post hole digging w/ a rental
machine, got 8' posts and wire mesh on sale. It was a hard monotonous job
but we only have to do it once...and it involved no risk of harm to our
dogs. There's lots of horse farms around here that use metal posts and catch
the wire mesh on it...maybe you could toodle around at one of the home
improvement places and see what turns up for ideas. Just a thot.

Our neighbors did the electric fence thing w/ their well behaved german
shepherds It only worked when there's nothing to 'bait' the poor dogs off.
One unsuspecting delivery person or neighborhood dogpal and they are out and
don't want to go home and get zinged after a breakout. They have gotten
'lost' for a couple days every now and then...and the whole family
flips...yet they don't put in a fence. Sometimes it's hard to understand.
