Re: [PyrNet-L] breeding question
Cindy;
After having spoken to some breeders( who are mentioned by name, in 'The New
Complete Great Pyrenees ) and by subscribing to some other dog lists; I have
also read numerous posts from veterinarians, breeders, and others on this
subject. There is now available ( I am trying to remember where ) a
recent study that suggests that spay/neutering actually causes cancer. This
is even now causing controversy among Vets on some lists. I believe that I
saw that one on an Anatolian Shepherd list.
One of the most respected Breeders that I am in contact with subscribes to
this belief and I really feel that there is no one definitive answer. I will
certainly try to find the exact post that mentions the study. If I can find
it I will post it to you.
Regards,
Terry
