The growling is a big issue. She may just be a spoiled dog who was never MADE to mind. 
Try looking in her ears, squeezing her toenails like you're going to give her a nail trim, 
invade her "body space" some and see how she reacts. If she growls or snarls at you when 
you do those sort of things I sure wouldn't take her. Especially if you've never owned a big 
dog before. Growling is NOT acceptable under any circumstances. If you correct her (very 
firmly!) for it and she backs down and doesn't do it again, that's one thing. But if you correct 
her and she growls again at you-let it go and please don't take her. These dogs are just 
too big to put up with any kind of aggressiveness in any way.
And I have found that mine are so mellow that they don't seem to need "active" training like 
my Goldens or Newf. They're so easy-going that they just don't cause problems.
