[PyrNet-L] Small Problem

Hi! I need some advice from all you knowledgeable folks...
We have a 2 yo female Pyr, and a week ago we introduced a new 8 week old
malamute puppy. The problem is, Tia, our pyr, is VERY upset about this!
No aggression, but she's definitely looking at me like I've betrayed
her... Is there any way to make her feel better? I've been paying
attention to her so she won't feel slighted - lots of rubs and brushing
and all, but the pup is going out of his way to push her away from me
when I pet her (I stop him, but it's still making an impact - he's quite
a little terrorist!). She is so sad! Will she get over it, or is there
something else I need to be doing?
