This is VERY interesting in that the vet Willow's previous owner's used told me
that her level was "1" but that they were going to do surgery on her! She has been
running and jumping all over my house with my GSD and shows no sign of discomfort.
She jumps into my car for rides, etc. That is not to say that I'm not concerned
and won't consult my own vet...I'm just a bit distrustful of the other vet,
especially now with what you've told me.

With Willow being a level 1, I feel I need to find out if there is any special
care that she would need or any supplements that she should have.

I understand...I have no experience with this type of problem...or dog, for that
matter. All I know is that she is very active, is very loving, fits in well with
my other dogs and I want to learn all that I can about her breed in order to give
her the best of care.
