You're SO right! And this is the biggest difference I've found with my Pyrs vs other breeds.
When I 1st get them (whether as adults or pups) they do seem hard to "read". They certainly
don't bounce all over me wagging their tails, they're so dignified and aloof, even as little
puppies. Once they bond to me though and I watch very closely for the signs, I can always see
how much I DO mean to them. I love these dogs.
You've sure got a handle on the "barking thing", too :-)
