[PyrNet-L] Another snow story ...

Saturday night we received our first snow of the season. Of course my
two 9 y.o. boys wanted to go out and play in it at around 9:00 pm. How
could I say no to their incessant pleeeeeadings. Meanwhile, our pyr
Bailey all but grabbed their coats and gloves for them.

The snow was quite heavy that night. It had been raining earlier and
slowly changed to snow as it got colder. Towards the end we were
getting huge slow moving flakes. When it ended, there was around two
inches covering the grass. The boys had a snowball fight (of course)
then tried to see how high Bailey would jump to catch a snowball, then
     some snow bowling and soccer.

Finally, after gathering enough towels it was time to start bringing
in the troops. Bailey first, still covered in snow but grinning
ear-to-ear. Meanwhile, the boys had begun building a snowman just off
the corner of the patio and in clear view through the sliding glass
doors. The BIG bottom snowball no problem. The second snowball on
top of that, hmmmmmm, Bailey was curious now. However, when they put
the "head" on their snowman, which is now nearly as tall as the boys,
something was just not right. Bailey started pacing back and forth
while not taking his eyes off this new stranger. Quickly it turned to
low growling, then ultimately to barking, barking, barking ... As the
boys added items to make the face etc. I couldn't stop laughing as
Bailey just couldn't figure out what he should be doing about this new
intruder. Just as the boys finished and were crossing the patio to
come inside, the snowman slowly tipped over thus ending the threat. By
morning, the grass was green once again and the only remaining trace
was a couple of slush balls.
