Sounds like a good resolution all round, Tracy. Your response avoided it
becoming needlessly confrontational, and the dog is now being kept safely
away from the stresses that might provoke another such incident. I
remember the dog we had when I was a kid becoming unreliable around small
children when he got old (he lived to 16). We simply closed him in the
yard or back part of the house when kids were around.
