Definitely say something to the owner. If she's the typical Lab, she probably just jumped into him 
(as Labs do) because she was being overly enthusiastic. But if it were my dog, I'd want to KNOW 
so that I would at least know to keep an eye on the dog before something worse happens. And if 
it were aggressiveness that caused it (so unlikely with a Lab, but always possible) then the owner 
most certainly needs to know. At least give him the *option to correct or prevent a future 
occurrance. If you don't tell him about it, he doesn't even have that option.
I feel bad for your son, it was obviously very upsetting to him.
