Sometimes it's as simple as a sharp noise the moment they step onto a particular surface 
that makes them leary after that. My advice? Feed her on the carpet, don't make her go on 
the tile if she doesn't want to. As she matures and in her own good time she'll come to see 
that the tile is nothing to be afraid of. Just the fact that she lives inside and the tile is in the 
house guarantees that she'll get plenty of exposure to it. Just ignore it and don't push the 
issue. The more her attention is drawn to "the monster tile" the more of an issue you're 
making of it. In cases like this I'd "ignore it and it'll probably go away".
