This is the preferred method and the usual procedure in the face to face
game, but I think it would probably be too slow in here. I'd suggest that
players be able to cast their votes in any order, to save time. Perhaps you
could implement both ways as subject line options.
As for that bit about not being necessary that all players vote before
deciding who gets lynched... assuming the voting is simultaneous as I
propose, it could turn out to be a bad idea. Some players could be tempted
to remain silent and not cast their votes early or at all so as to not give
away hints to the other players nor attract unwanted attention upon
themselves... thus causing sort of a deadlock. Then again, this could be
partly solved by setting a deadline for the voting (the "sunset"?).
