RE: [life] Real-time Life Proposal (v1.1)
I disagree.
It's an extra rule and the server is for 'simple' abstract games.
In virusses this rule was not present and because there was also a rule what
to do if more then one virus was placed on the same place.
If more then one virus is placed on the same place. The place keeps empty
and both the players lose on virus.
Of course the game virusses is turn based. I could propose that first a game
is coded that is turnbased and then later it can be made realtime.
Realtime game is not yet coded and realtime games are outside the target of
this server.

I decided one group of cells was necessary to prevent people from
strategically placing their 10 cells in key spots to destroy other
players. This would prevent people from getting their friends to join a
game simply to help destroy an opponent. Not that anyone in the
honorable society of Gamerz participants would ever do that....
I would further limit placement of new cells so that you could not place
new cells adjacent to existing players' cells.
Opinions?
