RE: [life] edge of the board
I agree with the wrap option that comes the most close to infinite.
And other idea is to have an edge were you can not place virusses.
You have a limited board without extra rules for the edge.

Good point. I forgot about the edges. I like the idea of a bounded
area, where the edges don't count one way or the other to the life or
death of the cells seems good. The other option is to have the edges
wrap, which would make things more chaotic and harder to control with
movement. Opinions?
