I understand how games work,
   The Holy Grail was in one of the books, but they didn't give the number of
points it takes to purchase such a thing.  You want tentative rules for such a
thing, "GM call it" is not enough for you  He's my suggestion, first you use
some sort of exceptional standard that is in the books, 

   Thw Wolverine Assault Suit, 15 points

    Now, seeing as how thousands of these were made, that is the *frequency* of
this item.  For our purposes, we shall assume 1000 of these exist (There may be
more, but this is a first order approximation, similar to the upcoming one
where God will be approximated to be in the shape of a sphere).  
    Ok, so since there is only one Holy Grail, and assault suits are 1000 times
as common, then you start at 
	    Standard * (Frequency Std)/(Frequency new item)
     15*1000 = 15000 character points  (Roughly available if you take the
"Veteran of the Mesozoic age" edge that will be in the next book "Rad Dinos of
the Apocalypse").  
      But that's not all, the fact that the Holy Grail has been lost for 2000
years is also a factor.  Again, the Wolverine suit is a fine example since the
majority of those were lost and people have been looking for them.  The
Wolverines have been *lost* for 13 years.  Again, using a similar equasion
(Assuming linear capacities for lossness over time, and again, that God is the
shape of a sphere), then

	     Standard * (Tnew)/(Tstd) 
	   15* 2000/13	=  150

      Now multiply the two of these numbers,
	   15000*150 = 2,250,000 Character points for the Holy Grail.  

     That does seem high, but does that make sense?  Well, I believe so since
Stone has 700,000 Character points (To a first order approximation assuming his
alluded to stats, abilities, and that Evil is, you guessed it, the shape of a
sphere), and he hasn't found the Holy Grail yet.  

      So I hope that helps.  As for whether this Item will cure mutations, that
requires a lot of other modeling for spiritual delivery of Items through Ghost
Rock ablated tissue, which would be a bit long, boring, and involve heavy use
of the greek letter Sigma. But I bet if you E-mail John Hopler, he could put
all these rules in The Junkman Cometh D20 book since really, after all, the are
related to items that people would want to have, and the rules are no more
complicated than anything else in Junking.
