have heard about it and be hell bent on destroying it. How and why you ask?
simple on earth there are far more activeand powerful tech spirits then on
Banshee. Thus as soon as 1 of them learned what was happening they would
speard it like wild fire, after all they are at war with the nature spirits so
they don't need another enemy.

Good point.

> Another side would be, you can't have 2 ABs, and since Mute is an AB, then
the fact that he had junker powers would make him unable to use the mute
implants.

Yeah, there are other legal combinations for 2 ABs, tho, like Doomie-Junker
and Templar-Greenie, tho. In my game, I allow double ABs after character
creation if the player can a) rationalize it, b) works towards it during the
game (a long, long process), and c) manages to buy all of the possible
starting skills and such that the AB requires/gives before being accepted into
the group.

> Finally and this suggestion is only for kind Marshals <snicker> there is
always the possibility that he could learn to use the mute abilities without
tearing apart tech spirits, instead combineing ot making new tech spirit thou
this would take alot more strain I would think.

Hm, another interesting idea I hadn't thought of. If I did do that, I'd
defeinitely make it a lot more time-consuming and a lot more tiring. I'd
probably come up with more disadvantages too, after all, the Mute gets off
lightly because they turn out to be an unwitting dupe of evil. To be free of
that should have a cost.

> Now for one more nasty thing, Junkers as far as I know are unknown on
Banshee, thus what would Vanessa or HI try to do to him when they found out he
can talk to tech spirits directly and more to the point be able to learn about
the shutoff control on every mute item made.

Ooh, I like that thought. HI'd probably want to contain him as soon as
possible. Since he's harrowed they could do it without being nice (ie blowing
off his limbs vs drugs and such) and they could proceed to either dissect him
(technically vivisection, but he's not really alive) and/or force the manitou
to speak.

On the other hand, with Vanessa being who she is, she may already know, as
manitou probably have a much easier time getting through Hell to Banshee than
other spirits. If the Tech spirits know about mutes via the Net (a bit of an
if, admittedly), the manitou should definitely know a bit about what's
happened on Earth. Vanessa doesn't seem to know, tho, so maybe her link is
more limited, being only partly human.

"As I look back, I see that it had been a mistake to send the letter. If you look far enough back, you will find that everything starts at some minor point. Something small becomes something very big. Something simple becomes complex. A brief moment of time becomes the focus of a tragedy. The letter was the minor point - something of no consequence that became the start of something of... importance." - Paul Thorgrimson, 'River of Blood, Path to Ruin,' October 2001
