Actually, I did have a module which combined the card draw, dice roller
and a chip pot, but I think I must have lost it when I switched
computers around.  In any event, it's not too hard to implement.

Not recently, but both the card module and the roller function would
plug neatly into anything written for such a purpose (I tend to work
entirely with web stuff...).  If it would help I'll send you the CGI for
the draw program off-list.

Thanks, you too.  The Deadland's dice mechanics are quite fun to program
effectively, you did a good job with it.  If you're interested in
continuing with Deadland's programming you might want to check out
http://www.thebrogue.com/dlcgp and help out with writing an online
character generator (which, currently is leaning more toward PHP than
Perl, but it's good to broaden your programming horizons :) )
