[HOE] Stupid Junker device...
Okay. Recently picked up a copy of Junkman... One of my number-crunching
players has a scan through, comes up with an idea for a device. A kind of
Rocket Launcher...
Ammo+Rocketman
Warhead: 1D4 damage. (base size 0.05) Burst radius (60degree arc, +10%), no
propellant (base size -50%, no chemical components) giving a total size of
0.03 slots.
Rocket: Range Increment 500. Slots (technically 12x0 (frame size of
warhead, but I'm assuming minimum of 1 so 12) therefore
Launcher = Size of rocket +20% = 12x20% = 17.28(18).So frame size 3.
So what's the point of having a rocket launcher that does 1d4 damage in a
60 degree arc burst radius to targets up to 2750 yards away?
Get this. This is the reason why I wanted to give him a ding upside the
head... Backblast with a range of 30 yards, 4D20 damage.
So... Advice? PLEASE say someone can spot some kind of fatal flaw in the
maths.... Or should I just slap this guy around the head?
Oh, and what's the TN for Rocketman? Seems to be missing.
