X-ray scans should reveal that he has at the very least a spirit fetter
and an AI, plus the infiltrator unit itself. Some of this stuff has got to
have enough metal in it to stop X-rays. A junker device could be built to
look for this.
Depending how elaborate you want to get, and the circumstances
offer him a room for the night, one that can be sealed airtight
and have carbon monoxide or something similar pumped in slowly
while the individual is watched via CCTV or similar. Non dead people
will fall asleep and can be quickly rescued. Actual dead people
shouldn't notice the fact that the air is no longer really breathable.
The Huckster spell that causes the harrowed to re check for dominion
(or similar effect, can't remember off the top of my head) may do
something, I'm not quite sure what though. Maybe only make them twitch a
bit, but that'd be enough.
Cut them, and use supernatural healing on them. If it works, they're
okay. If not...
Cut them, wait and see how long it takes to heal. Unreliable, but
extremely low tech method.
Despite the fact that he bleeds and smells normal etc. he's still dead
and a properly analysed tissue sample should reveal this fact.
The Doomsayer EMP power may have a different effect on him than on a
living flesh bag.
And of course the old Terminator method, point a German Shepard at him.
If it barks, snarls and tries to eat him it's either, because he's dead,
or not enough tinned dog food survived the Apocalypse...
Hope these helped...
