With a weapon, you roll a normal Stength check for the STR portion of the
damage- that is, take the highest of the dice.  Then add the total of the
weapon's dice to the result for the Strength.

In barehanded combat, the attacker rolls his Strength and again takes the
highest.  The victim rolls his Vigor and takes the difference between the
attacker's Strenth roll and his Vigor roll.
