Yeah...but...

I don't look at something like Pyramid as a website as much as a magazine in
website's clothing.  Of course, something like Pyramid has its share of
problems BECAUSE of the format it uses (you can log on and let your friend
download back issues, for example, without him paying), but it has a few
perks, too (no printing costs, for one).  I mean, if Pyramid were printed in
paper format, you'd expect to pay for it, so why not expect to pay for it if
someone puts it up as an on-line publication?  They've still got people to
pay, and ad banners just don't seem to be working as a source of income
anymore (anybody else here read Something Awful?).
