Amen to this.  I posted a private note to Shane a few moments ago, so I'm
not going to repeat that here, but suffice to say that Shane is the
"stand-up guy" in the game industry, bar none; I'll be damned if I let that
go unrewarded.

Do I have doubts about Cybergames? Sure.  Are they warranted? At the
moment, they seem to be.  Do I think they'll make good on the promises
Steve Peterson's made to the list? We'll see.

But one thing I do know: take or leave Cybergames, the inescapable fact is
that Deadlands is *Shane's* baby, and I am by God going to support him, and
it.

I'm not going to blindly support it because I feel we owe it to PEG, or
because I've been around since almost the beginning, or because I *know*
things are going to turn out right in the end.

I'm going to support it because I have *faith* that Shane, and anyone he
brings in- freelance or in house staff- do the best work they can do.

And that is a damn sight better than just about anyone else in the
industry.
