My old D&D group used to play a lot of Queen in the background. "One
Vision" became known as our "Fight Music", but there are other selections
from the Highlander soundtrack that work well, such as "Princes of the
Universe" and "The Prize". We also occaisionally had the Flash Gordon
soundtrack playing, but I think only two of us were actually enamoured with
that particular musical masterpiece.
If you're looking for something non-queen, then you need to track down some
CDs called "Heavy Classix" or "Heavy Classix 2", it's a collection of
classical music that heavy metal fans should appreciate, all high-octane
extremely heavy classical epic pieces. Ride of the Valkyries has been
overdone as of late, but there's some really great works on here, like Mars
from Holst's Planets, Firebird, 1812 Overture, lots of good stuff for epic
battles. The second disc, if you can find it, starts out with that gothic
Orph piece you always hear in action movies.
(I can only find the first one on Amazon)

You can probably pick it up pretty cheap at an auction site, Amazon I think
listed two at $6.99.
