Besides you have to extrapolate technology out by about 70-80 years. The stuff that would fit into a truck today, will fit in to a headset, wrist comp, etc..., eaiser to lose, and destroy by things like war, nuclear missles, etc..

That's one thing that has bugged me about HOE is that the Tech is not very futuristic. Look at the bleeding edge guns today, 50-120 round clips, emptied in under 1 seconed, with thermal imaging, recoil supression, gun cameras, and communications links built in.
