He's talking about the new rules for Storyteller. I think it's called
Storyteller 2.0? Something like that. It's supposed to clean up some of
the quirkier rules. And also sop up any extra cash their customers might
have after buying the Revised editions of the previous rules.

Under the old Storyteller system, you were more likely to botch if you
had two dice in your dice pool than if you had one. I don't remember the
exact numbers, but the rough odds of rolling at least a single '1' on
two dice is in the neighborhood of 1 out of every 5 rolls, where with
one die the odds are 1 in 10. So the chance of a botch with 1 die was
around 10% while it jumped up to around 15% with two dice.
Under the new system it's not quite so bad, you can't botch if you have
at least one success so the odds of a botch on two dice are now around
11%, which is a little bit worse than one die, but not by much.
