BTW I just looked it up. The Virginia City Massacre was in like 2085, the 
Schism in 2086.  Form what we can tell, the Grundies were created 
post-schism and defiantly post VC Massacre.  That makes the max age for any 
Grundy running around about 7 years old, and that is the maximum.  I would 
not guess any would be older then 5 or so.  I suppose that makes alot of 
commentary on their lifespan pretty theoretical.
