Ok, it seems my question was completely missed.   Yes I agree that Grundies 
can't be Templars

A)  They can become Companions, but not Templars. Grundies are far too
emotionally immature to administer the Templars test of worth, and Simon
would never make one a full-fledged Templar. A Grundie Templar would likely
protect a band of cutthroats who treated him nicely and gave him candy and
turn his back on a settlement that yelled at him for breaking something.

because I am working on a group for my posse to deal with.  It currently 
includes a Harrowed Anti-Templar, a Green Robe, and a Witch as the main 
badies plus the Anti-Templar's War Band and the Doomies Trogs and a few 
Grundies.   The question is, is it possible for a Grundie to become an 
Anti-Templar if he spends time following the War Band?
