Re: [HoE] Luck of the Draw

I have a question: how many character draws did it actually take until you
get one of the four-aces-plus-Jokers draw?

After hearing "This draw sucks, can I do it again?" one too many times, we
moved to dealing out four sets of 12 cards from the deck and keeping the one
you like best. But you have to keep one of the four. The number of times
both Jokers end up in the same draw is about the same as the number of times
one or both of them are among the 6 cards not drawn (4x12=48+6=54) and,
while I've seen - and allowed - draws with both Jokers, I don't think I've
ever seen more than 2 aces in the same draw, certainly not 3 or 4 with the
Jokers.

Of the different mwthods we tried, this seems to work the best, be the most
balanced and still allow the players to have above-average characters.
