Re: [HoE] Luck of the Draw [Getting OT]

Because deadlands uses so many different dice, it's hard to have a lucky set.
One friend of mine rolls dice in between rolls, and then uses the ones that come
up highest. This doesn't work for me, it's almost as if I use up the luck in
the dice. I prefer to roll only when I need too and then any dice that come up 1
get rotated out.

And some dice work better for some systems... like my glow-in-the-dark warhammer
power die. Consistant 6's playing WFRP, useless for anything else.

Obligatory HoE reference:

Would dice have tech spirits, nature spirits, or something else (manitous?)
powering them? I refuse to beleive that they are inanimate... if they were, the
amount of attention they receive when used by roleplayers would imbue them with
some sort of mystic energy.

anyone else read the knights of the dinner table episode where they go to great
lengths to remve the bad luck from a set of dice?
