[HoE] Hunter; the Reckoning
A while back we got all hot and bothered over the whole White Wolf using
"the Reckoning" and Crackhouse font. Now I'm going to add some fuel to the
fire.
Be for I go into this I loved (past tense) White Wolf. I bought Vampire in
it's first edition and every book after. When Hunter's Hunted came out I
found the WoD niche I needed. The problem was it was a supplement and very
limited. Now they make hunters it's own Game.
I received my copy this evening and the first thing that hit me was the
orange and red flame. I set it down next to my Deadlands Weird West rule
book and made some dinner. I return to find that I had to look very close
because the only real difference in coloring and binding was the snowthorn
versus chrackhouse fonts. I decided to read while I ate and found that the
prologue is what the web-site is. I read farther to find that the main enemy
of the hunter (or the reason the hunters exist at all, it unclear) is
creatures called the "rots." Rots are in fact zombies (or walking dead if
you like) and they are every where. while I have yet to finish the book (I
had to get this part out now) it made me think of what PEG might have put
out for a modern day Deadlands.
Well I'm done being a tubthunper and want to finish reading. I'll let you
know what I think of the rest and anything else that gets me going (after
all until MMM or OI come out this is all I have) later.
