Well yeah, but that's due to outside factors, (government and trade tariffs)
not good old pure capitolism. Pure capitolism would keep goods cheaper at
the source. With no strong central government to prevent monopolies and to
set prices, I see the Merchant class becoming a very strong interest group in
the wasted west for good or ill. The Convoy could become a bigger factor
than ever conceived. Maybe a bad Convoy? Hmm. They control certain trade
routes and have monopolies on certain trade goods? Something to think about.
Hey, maybe they buy up all the soda! Yeah, that's it!
