Re: [HoE] A request for aid with my campaign

Well Ralph, I'm of the opinion that unless you really want to completely rework
your world everytime a new source book comes out, then subscribe to my theory
of events in any game world with an "established" story. Yes Simon is killed
but someone WILL rise up and take the mantle and continue the templars. ( I
know were I to be playing in your world My Templar Brother Jacob would stand up
and take the reins, driving out the heretic anti templars and slaying the
abomination known as the destroyer..) Who ever took over would simply replace
Simon. One character comes immediately to mind. Jo.
If you chose to slay simon and not replace him you badly tip the scales of
balance in your world. With no new templars to replace the slain ones ( and
eventually they will die. it happens) the forces of evil will begin to slowly
out gun the forces of light. And the snowballed effect will topple the entire
world. Do you truly wish to have to modify every source book that comes out
from now on to take into effect that the templars are gone? No towns saved from
black hats, Mutants running rampant. Dogs and cats living together. Mass
hysteria....
 Just my 2 cents worth.
If you want Jacob's stats to replace simon let me know.( Personally I would
use Jo.)
