Re: [HoE] A question on going from Weird to Wasted West

My problem

Well, the way I brought characters over may be different then the way you
are doing it, but basically I ran the Devil Tower's Trilogy and had Jackie
fill them in quickly on what they'd be experiencing if they crossed over.
Cash not being worth much, the dangers, etc. etc. I did this though
because the players got the choice to go or not. Basically if they chose
not to go, they got to start with new Hell on Earth characters and will
play their Weird West Characters again later. If you aren't giving them
the choice though, then it really doesn't matter as much in my opinion.
I'm the sort of GM that tries to keep in game knowledge in game and out of
game knowledge out. That's how come I had Jackie fill them in. If I were
you (which I'm not), I'd let them do what they will and if their greedy
hands turn out to be carrying a bunch of worthless paper so be it.
However, being the kind GM that I am, I may have them stumble upon a
Librarian or someone else interested in historical money that might "buy"
it off them though not for the full amount of course. Well, that's how'd I
run it. Either way I wouldn't want them coming over to the Wasted West
with 15k in supplies. Good luck with it though. Take it easy and talk at
you later.
