Well, there's always the Road Warrior option. Spend even more on Belongin's
and have a horse or a solar-powered car or something. Also, depends on the
game. If the PCs have a base of operations and aren't wandering around the
world, which isn't a bad idea at all, then the problem of carrying the cache
goes away.
