Even not so intelligent opponents. We ran across Varney Flats in my game
[my Marshal kept it around just to torment us 200 years later] and found
it occupied by redneck hillbillies. Their first target was the Doomie.
Not just because he's a mutant, but also because even inbred hillbillies
know what a mutie in green or purple robes means. The next target was
the Syker, because everybody recognizes the smooth bald head. Not just
'hair fell out because of rads or genetics', but 'smoother than a snakes
belly' bald and that's a dead [oooh. Punny!] give away. The Syker has
taken to wearing a hooded shirt under his jacket for the express purpose
of covering his head. Might give him a couple seconds to get down
because that sniper up on the watchtower of the town won't instantly
home in on his bald head [and aim for the maximum number of rounds. So
he's got a plus to hit if anything starts]. Going Bust on a "Faith" or
"Blastin'" roll is unlikely, but eventually will probably happen. And
the consequences can be nasty. Assuming they have Strain left to spend
to begin with. The Syker learned the hard way to be judicious in the use
of his powers.

But, that's just my opinion, and I talk a lot...
