Radiation spawned by Ghost Rock, which was a tool of the Reckoners (as most 
Academia/Occult-type folks seem to know these days).  You'd think someone 
would kinda wonder about that.  If the four evilest bad guys in the known 
universe were pushing my kind towards "perfection," I'd sorta wonder what's 
at the end of that particular path...
