This is a tough one. Your Templar WAS playing out his hinderance. If the
Templar character felt remorse for his bestial actions I would let him
slide. But we are talking about him saying this to the other players.
Expressing remorse. If he doesn't even feel just a little bad about his
actions, zap him. Let him start down the path of Servitor-hood, but
since it's early let him redeem himself. If possible make that a side
quest for the party. Hope these sugestions help.
