Re: [HoE] Movies...

A quick thought on movies while waiting for the books (and any attached
bibliographies) to arrive: _A Boy and His Dog_ should probably be
required viewing for anyone wanting to start pursuing post-apocolyptic
films. _The Planet of the Apes_ (especially the implications of the
final scene) is probably a good idea to watch as well.

Another thougth along those lines is _The Gods Must Be Crazy_ or a
documentary of the Cargo Cults of the South Pacific (who pray -- or in
some other way venerate -- palm-frond recreations of WW II era planes)
for a possible reaction of isolated people to new or advanced technology
in the game world.

The old "Hex" comic book series (Johnah Hex in a post-apocalyptic
future) might be worth trying to find but would involve a greater
investment than a movie rental.

Just some thoughts.
