Couldn't sleep.  But here's my last one before I lie
down and close my eyes.

If each player gets three rules.  Then there's room
for three basic types of rules.

value of a suit
whacko rules (odd/evens, strange multipliers or
nullifiers, etc.
sets (including x of a kinds or get these cards for x
points)

Give the values a smaller amount of points.  Give the
whackos plus/minus for medium amounts.  Give the sets
larger points.
