Re: [DL] New Marshal New Posse - Minor Spoilers
Well, I'm new to the list, but an old hand running DL, and I'd say you
should hold off making any changes for several sessions. While DL
combat can be deadly indeed, I've found that the "default" deadliness
keeps the players' growth in check, as they are constantly burning
chips to avoid taking wounds in combat. As hardcore d20 players, your
gang is likely used to being able to absorb a certain amount of
punishment, and that's fine, but in DL your posse's not supposed to be
quite so damage-resistant.
As to average awards per sessions, I probably throw out 3-4
points/chips worth out for an average four-hour session with a
gunfight or two. More for the final session of any given story arc.
