    It might depend on the type of power.  A number of harrowed powers are
"passive" powers in that the harrowed has to make a conscious effort to use
them.  Things like Supernatural abilities, Stichin' and Unholy reflexes are
always "on" so the Harrowed might not know he is "using" them.  I ran a
harrowed musician who only had passive powers for the longest time.  When he
finally got a power that required him to make an active thought to use it, I
had some trouble working out how he managed to start using it.
